The best portraits from the Athens shoot were made while the crew reset the lights. Everybody was waiting, and waiting looks honest.

Waiting is a face of its own. Shoulders soften, eyes wander to the window, a hand finds the back of the neck.

Now the camera stays loaded through every break and I stay quiet. The sitter hears the shutter and smiles at being caught.
